Rochester: Born in Gaeta, Italy, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at age 79. Predeceased by his father and mother, Cosmo and Carmina (Canzanella) Uttaro. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Immaculate (Gaudino) Uttaro; children, Angela Uttaro, Cosmo Uttaro, Joseph D. Uttaro, II; grandchildren, Bernadette I. Clarke, Elizabeth B.R. Clarke, Tyler Bailey; brothers and sisters, Luigi Uttaro of CA, Angelina Silvano, Rosetta Ricinello, Bruno Uttaro all of Italy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anthony and Joan Gaudino, Joseph and Theresa Gaudino, Grace Gaudino; special niece, Ann Marie Utter (Dave Bailey); many nieces and nephews. Mr. Uttaro was a retiree of Rochester Gas and Electric.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday morning, November 17, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:00 in Holy Apostles Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
