Iacchetta, Giuseppe
Gates: Passed away after a six month battle with liver cancer on January 23, 2014, at the age of 79. He was born on November 18, 1934, in Celano, Italy, the first child of four to Antonio and Concetta Iacchetta. Predeceased by his father Antonio; mother, Concetta, and brother Luigi. Giuseppe is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anna (DelRossa) Iacchetta; children, MaryAnn (Paul) Lagonegro, Anthony (Angela) Iacchetta, Connie (James) Schreiner; grandchildren, Anthony (Rachel) and Alexander (Maria) Iacchetta, Stephanie and Nicole Lagonegro, Kyle and Alyssa Tribotte, Ryan Schreiner; brother, Alberto (Maria) Iacchetta; sister, Maria Marsocci; sister-in-law, Joanne Iacchetta; uncle and aunt, Berardino and Lucia Santilli of Italy; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Giuseppe was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, godfather, cousin, and friend. He was a fun and loving man who will be greatly missed.
Friends may call SUNDAY ONLY from 1-5PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. . On Monday morning, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Center or to URMC Palliative Care, both at 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642 in his memory.
