Gates: Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at age 96. Predeceased by her husband, James Orlando; brothers, Russ, Angelo and Sam Ruta. She is survived by her sons, James (Joanne) Orlando, Joel (Beverly) Orlando; daughters, Jeannette Karam, Denise LaRosa of NM; grandchildren, Tracy Orlando, Gina (Mike) Julian, Lynn (Greg) Masceri, Matthew, Brandon and Marisa Orlando, John Karam, Steven (Lisa) Karam, Tom and Andrea LaRosa; great grandchildren, Anthony, Gianna, Olivia, Tessa, Savannah and Ryan; brothers, Joseph Ruta, Louis Ruta; sister, Mary Calzone; sister-in-law, Beverly Ruta; many nieces and nephews. Jennie was a member of the Gates Senior Citizens Club.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Wednesday morning, April 23, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore's Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, c/o Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.
