Rochester: Sunday, July 5, 2015, at age 72. Predeceased by her husband, Juan Ortiz; infant son, Robert Ortiz; grandson, John Ortiz, Jr., sister, Jeannette Cook. She is survived by her children, Johnny Ortiz (Kendra), Michael Ortiz, Marcellena (Eddie) Wade, Cynthia Ortiz (Jamie Bell), James (Tammy) Ortiz, Patricia (Bernie) Schaffer; special grandson, Anthony Ortiz; 12 other loving grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Keith Fink. Mrs. Ortiz was a member of His Place Fellowship.
Friends may Thursday from 4-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates, where her funeral services will follow at 6:00PM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donation may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.
