Hamilton, Bernard J. “Bernie”
Rochester: Saturday, August 8, 2015, at age 82. Predeceased by his son, Mark. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Vonnie (Holman) Hamilton; children, Michael (Marla) Hamilton, Brian (Ilene) Hamilton of FL, Bonnie (Michael) Mitchell; grandchildren, Elissa (Tom) Johnson, Tara Hamilton, Ryan Fletcher, Alexi Hamilton, Jaron Hamilton, Ryan Mitchell and Alex Mitchell; great grandchildren, Leah, Myah and Matthew; brother, David; sister, Margaret; many nieces and nephews. Bernie was a retiree of Rochester Telephone Corp and Wegmans, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He left a positive impact on everyone he met and will be deeply missed.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Friday, August 14, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:30AM in Sacred Heart Cathedral (Flower City Park). Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
