Valenti, Salvatore N. “Sam”
Greece: Peacefully, Saturday, March 19, 2016, at age 90. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jean (Cenzi) Valenti; children, George (Stephanie) Valenti of KS, Gary (Colleen) Valenti, Michael (Patricia) Valenti, Linda (Samuel) Polizzi, Samuel (Richelle Marek) Valenti of CO; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Mamie Pezzulo, Louise (Jack) Fuller, Anna Stote; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patrick and Connie Cenzi, Mary Lamendola, Julianne Viviani; many nieces and nephews. Sam was a retiree of Xerox Corp. and a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Wednesday, March 23, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Honor Flight Rochester, PO Box 23581 Rochester, NY 14692 in his memory.
