Erickson, Russell J.
Spencerport: Suddenly on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at age 69. Predeceased by his father and mother, Albert and Josephine Erickson. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Theresa Erickson; daughters, Michelle (Eric) Westrich, Erisha Erickson; grandchildren, Taylor and Austin; brother, Albert (Ingrid) Erickson; mother-in-law, Rosa Verde; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Verde, Gelsomina and Angelo Martusciello, Lilliana and Salvatore Rotoli; many nieces and nephews. Russ was gifted with an amazing talent of woodworking and stained glass. His golden hands have created many beautiful pieces for his family and the community.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 2-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, January 30, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 N. Main St., Churchville. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 in his memory.
