Gates: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at age 94. Predeceased by his wives, Dorothy (1986) and Josephine D’Ambrosia Lapa; brothers, Joe & Stanley Lapa. Survived by his step-children, Frank (Diane) D’Ambrosia, Joyce (Steve) Cooney; 4 step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wanda Lapa; many special nephews, nieces, grandnephews and great-nieces.
Bernard was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and an Army Veteran of WW II.
No prior calling. On FRIDAY, February 17th, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd., Gates. Interment, Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester NY 14620 in his memory.
A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Latta Road Nursing Home (West) who were like family to Bernie.
