Golino, Americo “Rico”
Gates: Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at age 83. Predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Mary Golino; sister, Brenda (Victor) Calisto. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Martha Golino; children, Kathy (Ray) Ferro, Vincent (JoAnn) Golino, Robert Golino (fiancée, Valerie); grandchildren, Gina (Alex) Sanzotta, Angela Ferro, Sarina Ferro, Anthony (Brittany) Golino, Salvatore Golino; great grandchildren, Eliana and Giovanni Sanzotta, Sophia and Emilia Golino; sister, Mary (Joseph) Recco; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Salustiano and Luisa Donet, Miguel and Hina Donet, Teresa Donet; many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Rico was a retiree of the United States Navy after 26 years of service, a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War, was the owner of Anytime Taxi and Limo, and was known as “Tony the Cab Driver”.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 1-5PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, April 3, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or to Honor Flight Rochester, Inc. PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692 in his memory.
