Greece: Friday, April 21, 2017, at age 89. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Gilda (Marinetti) Tarquinio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Flavia and Ermanno Gagliardo, Julia and Joseph Speranza, Guido Cedro, Mario Marinetti. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Tom Quanz; grandchildren, David Quanz (Jon Eziquiel-Shriro), Peter (Kim) Quanz, Amy Quanz, Steven Quanz; great grandson, Vincent Thomas Quanz; sister, Ann Cedro; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Adele and Richard Klein, Josephine Marinetti; special friend, Maria Clement; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Mr. Tarquinio was a retiree of RG&E, an Army Veteran of WWII, and a member of the VFW, Greece Community Partners, St. Lawrence Church, and the Gates YMCA.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday morning, April 28, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lipson Cancer Center, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 or to St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory.
