Rochester: Friday, April 28, 2017, at age 92. Predeceased by her parents, Gertrude and Russell Plum; husbands, Thomas Leschander and William Zavaglia; brother, Lawrence Plum; grandson, Mitchell Giardino. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Zavaglia) Giardino (Mike); grandsons, Kyle Durfee and Dominic Giardino, Michael, Mark (Anne) and John Zavaglia; granddaughters, Susan (George) Kovach, Melissa Zavaglia; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother Robert (Kathy) Plum; sister-in-law Adelaide Rozzi; step-sons William and Robert Zavaglia; life-long friend, June Gleichauf; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ginny retired in 1989 from Blue Cross and Blue shield where she worked as a payroll coordinator. She was a sweet soul who was loved by all who met her. Children held a special place in her heart and she never missed an opportunity to tell a parent how beautiful their child was. She was a seasoned traveler with a deep love for all animals.

No prior calling. On Monday, May 1, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 in Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue. Interment, private. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Seneca Park Zoo, 2222 St. Paul St., Rochester, NY 14621 in her memory.
