Condolence From: Gail Becker Nelli
Condolence: Dear Diane and Family,
I saw Little Joe's obituary notice in the D&C, bringing back so many fond memories of him when he & Tommy owned the Jefferson Grill and my grandparents, Bill & Dottie Ryan ran the kitchen. The first 10 years of my life was spent there a lot, getting to know the JG "family." Joe & Tommy were also friends with my Dad Larry Becker & his twin brother Art and My Mom Pauline Ryan and her 5 younger sisters:Beverly, Dottie, Carol, Billie Pat and Sharon. He used to give us pop & peanuts through the sliding door between the bar and dining room, and sometimes quarters for the juke box. He was a very sweet man who adored his wife and daughter and had love left over for the rest of us, too!

I have pictures of the JG family saved on my computer that were my Grandma Dottie's. My Aunt Dot Harvey has the originals. There are plenty of Joe that you might want to see some time from the 50's and 60's.

Heartfelt condolences from our Ryan/Becker families. So glad Joe lived a long life; what a blessing for you.
