Dottie was a retiree from Gannett Newspapers and was also employed at Eastman Kodak Co. and Neisner’s Executive office in earlier years. She was previously active in the Gates-Chili Seniors, St. Helen’s Widows Club and volunteered at Westgate Nursing Home. She spent her last 7 years at St. John’s Home and recently celebrated her 97th birthday… what a legacy she leaves us.
A special thank you to the staff at St. John’s Home who took the time to care for Dottie, make her feel special and most of all, loved. Her positive attitude and smiling face, and her deep faith in our Lord and Blessed Mother carried her through many of life’s trials, tragedies and tribulations. Her favorite saying “Keep your chin up, Have a positive attitude” will be with us always.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family to celebrate her life.
