May, Anne M. (Marciano)
Irondequoit: Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at age 96. Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Frank May. She is survived by her daughters, Marcy (Paul) Fabian, Judy (Jack) Demchock; grandchildren, Jack Demchock, Jr., Wendy (Kirk) Morris, Kimberly (Tim) Federico, Michael (Nicole) Fabian; great grandchildren, Nicole, Olivia, Sydney, Lauren, Joel and Carter; great-great granddaughter, Emory Janet; sister-in-law, Irma Marciano; several nieces and nephews. Anne was a retiree of Rochester Products where she was chairperson and social director of Local 1097 UAW for many years. She was the first woman to be appointed to National Advisory Board of the UAW. She was a member of the Golden Agers and a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church for many years. Anne had a humorous personality as people enjoyed being in her company. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, where her funeral services will follow at 7:00PM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Westwood Commons Activity Fund, 50 Union Square Blvd., North Chili, NY 14514 in her memory. Anne’s family would like to thank the staff at Westwood Commons for their loving and compassionate care.
