Sak, Edna I. (Gatz)
North Chili: Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went peacefully home to God on October 10, 2017. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Eugene J. Sak, Sr.; daughter, Carol Ann Sak; brothers, Edward, Raymond and Stephen Gatz; sisters, Pauline Callipare and Eleanor Verhay. Edna will be greatly missed by her son and daughter, Eugene J. Jr. (Susan) Sak and Cheryl (Gary Randolph) Sak; grandsons, Israel (Karen) Sak, Peter Sak (Nicole Olshefski); great grandchildren, Shannon (Wes) Mallory, Maggie, Ellie, Tommy and Lillian Sak, Ryan Sak, Alex Bonin; special nephew, Daniel (Lori) Callipare; many nieces, nephews and friends at College Greene Apartments. Edna loved caring for her family, gardening, baking and her grand dog Cinnamon, was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb, and a member of Park Ridge Ladies Auxiliary.

No prior calling. On Saturday morning, November 4, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 in St. Jude’s Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, private. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Chili Senior Center, 3235 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624 in her memory. Edna’s family would like to thank her compassionate caregivers in her final days with special thanks to Tina Dentino and Michele Wadekis.
