Gates: passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at age 77. Predeceased by the love of her life, Gennaro; parents, Giuseppe and Filomena Vito; siblings, Rachele, Maria, Salvatore, Giacomo and Giovanni; her in-laws, James and Martha Paternoster. She is survived by her daughters, Marta (Giuseppe) Fusco of Italy, Filomena (John) Mastrella; Maria Cancellieri; grandchildren, Emma Fusco (fiancé, Pasquale Raimondo) of Italy, Teresa Fusco of Italy; John Mastrella, Alicia (Bryan) Hubbard, Rita, Carmelo and Gennaro Cancellieri; brothers and sisters-in-law, Antonio and Angelina Vito, Giorgio and Maria Vito of Italy, Giulio and Ermelinda Vito of Italy; many loving relatives and friends in Rochester and Italy. Teresa was a retiree of The Rochester City School District. Her greatest pleasure was cooking for her family.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 3-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday morning, November 13, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
