Pointon, George E.
Greece: Friday, November 10, 2017, at age 92. Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Pointon; sisters, Phyllis Tyre and Patricia Allen Bruke. He is survived by his son, Tom Pointon; daughter, Barbara Yahn (Mike Skrynski); daughter-in-law, Cindy Pointon, whose time and compassion spent with George was greatly appreciated by his family; grandchildren, Tracy Pointon, Troy Pointon, Jamie (Jordan) Gauthier; great grandchildren, Jayden and Aubrey; sister, Jean (Herbert) Seil; many nieces and nephews. George was a retired engineer from Eastman Kodak Co. and a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 15, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Funeral services Thursday morning at 10:00 in the funeral home.
