Gates – Suddenly, Friday, January 12, 2018 at age 23. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Patricia A. & Raymond Minster; paternal grandfather, Francesco Valente. He is survived by his loving parents, Joyce (Minster) & Tony Valente; best friends/sister and brother, Deanna (Rich) Castre, Anthony Frank Valente; nephews, Michael & Nicholas Davis and Austin Castre; paternal grandmother, Marie Ronzo Valente (Rick Prest); great uncle, Phil (Linda) Ronzo; uncles and aunts; John & Stephanie Valente, Cathy Melia, Frank & Linda Valente, Jayne Matthias, Ray Minster (deceased), Janet Massella, Judy Houck, Joanne & Joseph Pecorella, Jackie Donk, Jeanne & Jeff Townsend, Jennifer DiLucia, Jessie Miles, Richard Minster, Julyana & Rick Nichols, Robert & Sandy Minster, Randy & Nicole Minster; many cousins and friends; his dogs, Tucker & Tula. A special mention to all his classmates and new friends at AMR.
Frankie was a 2012 graduate of Gates-Chili High School. He had fulfilled his passion and wishes for helping others by most recently becoming an EMT with AMR. He is a true hero. Frankie had a contagious smile and laugh. He was one of the rare people in this world that could smile with his eyes. He enjoyed motorcycles and Gunsmithing. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He always put others before himself. He had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Blackjack and Las Vegas and had an extreme passion for his mom’s cooking. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may call THURSDAY 3:00-8:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, January 19, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery (Coldwater Road, Gates). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frankie Valente Scholarship Fund c/o Anthony P. Valente, 2117 Buffalo Road #307, Rochester, NY 14624 (for future EMT/Paramedics/First Responders) in his memory.
