Sunday, February 4, 2018, in his 101st year. Predeceased by his wife, Josephine (Rotella) Mitrano; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Elizabeth Mitrano; sisters and brother-in-law, Rose and Anthony Pizzurro, Delia Mitrano, Mary Mitrano. He is survived by his children, Charles (Sue) Mitrano, Jack (Jacqueline) Mitrano, Mary Ellen (Robert) Dangler; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Mitrano was a retired detective for the Rochester City Police Department after 32 years of service. He was an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed going to the casino and OTB.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Thursday morning, February 8, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:15 in St. Theodore’s Church. Interment, private.
