Malvaso, Lucy M. (Varricchio)

Gates: Lucy went peacefully to the Lord on July 18, 2018. She is survived by husband, Mark A. Malvaso; precious daughters, Kristin Malvaso and Lauren Malvaso (fiancé, Matthew Habets); adoring father and mother, Anthony and Italia Varricchio; cherished sister, Caroline (Dr. Richard) Gagnier; loving nieces and nephews, Dr. Celeste Gagnier (Dr. Glenn Stokken), Dr. Michael (Dr. Elizabeth) Gagnier, and Dominique Gagnier; sister-in-law, Therese Malvaso (Ron Agnello), many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends here and in Italy; her remarkable best friends, Diane, Rachelle, Joanne, Colleen, Karen and Joe. Lucy was a dedicated public servant and retiree from the Town of Gates Assessor’s Office.

All are invited to attend Lucy’s Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 28, at 10:00AM at St. Theodore’s Roman Catholic Church located at 168 Spencerport Road in Gates. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Lucy’s memory can be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center or the Strong Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
