I will always treasure the countless memories of Uncle Bob preserving family moments through his gift of photography, starting from my early days. My earliest favorite stuffed animal was a gift from Aunt Ellie and Uncle Bob; its name was Olie Olie Olson! Another of my early memories is when Uncle Bob took us girl cousins to Lollypop Farm and took photos of us meeting the ducks. Yet another memory is of him taking photos of us back when girls' winter wear was fuzzy sweaters, plaid wool skirts and knee socks. My associations have that kindly, understated quality of welcome. He didn't blast out his giftedness, but he sure was a blessing. His interests in railroads and camping were part of that. He seemed to know how to enjoy life. And how he loved his family! That's a heritage my cousins carry on so beautifully. Love you, Wendy and Cheryl. I'm sad for you and will miss Uncle Bob.
