Gates - Suddenly, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at age 64. Predeceased by his dad, Richard. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Trish; his children, Kristen (Dave) Wooden, Dan Hedeen (Lauren Fowler); granddaughter, Harper Wooden; mom, Mary Hedeen; sisters & brother, Anne (Mike) Donahue, Tom (Linda) Hedeen, Patty (Dave) Johnson; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Mike was a News Reporter in Rochester for the past 28 years, prior to his retirement in the spring of 2017. He enjoyed gardening, hiking and The Rolling Stones.
Friends may call on TUESDAY, May 8, from 3:00-7:00PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. Services & Interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 E. River Rd., P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 in his memory.
