New York, NY: formerly of Gates, Saturday, June 9, 2018, at age 54. Predeceased by his father and mother, Robert and Norma (Julian) Heusinger; sister, Donna Carl. He is survived by his sister, Catherine (Gene) Butler; nephew and nieces, Robert (Amie) Butler, Amanda (Chris) Blaesi, Michelle Butler (Harry Figueora), Nicole (Jay) Johnson, Valerie (Scott) Dolan; great nieces and great nephew, Nevaeh, Audrey, Kyler, Kalissa, Lily and Aliyah; loving companion, Joseph Mills; many other relatives and friends.
Robert was a graduate of SUNY Purchase and worked many years in the film and entertainment industry. He was currently employed as an information systems analyst for Proskauer Rose Law Firm.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday morning, June 16, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:15 in St. Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Sullivan County ASPCA, 104 Rock Hill Drive, Rock Hill, NY 12775 or to American Diabetes Assoc., PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312 in his memory.
