Cagle, LaVerne Jean (Brown)
Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at age 88. Predeceased by her husbands, Carl Duane Verwiebe, Robert LaVerne Cagle, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Dwight Walter Brown & Alice Brown. She is survived by her sons, Robert LaVerne (Peggy) Cagle, Jr., Keith Martin Cagle, PhD. and his partner, Tony Ellis; grandchildren, Leslie Jean Cagle, Kristina Jane Cagle (fiancé, Matthew Hobbs), James Martin Cagle (fiancée, Hayley Brown); great-grandson, Lathan Maddox Smith; daughter-in-law, Sharon Jean Lott; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
LaVerne had served as the assistant to the national organization of American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) for 12 years.
No prior calling. On Saturday, January 20, 2018 all are invited to her Celebration of Life at 11:00AM in Anchor Baptist Church, 518 N. Greece Rd. Interment, private.
