Fonte, Frances (Tantalo)
Rochester: Saturday, March 24, 2018, at age 106. Predeceased by her husband, Vito Fonte; father and mother, Pasquale and Rita Tantalo; brothers, Nick, Dominic, Frank and Gidio Tantalo. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Rita (Franklin) Amorese; grandchildren, Joseph (Kathleen) Amorese, Karen (Steve) Kress, Elaine (Jon) Stillinger; great grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, Joseph and Chase; sister, Angela (Victor) Scarpulla; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Wednesday morning, March 28, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 in St. John Evangelist Church of Greece, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. John’s Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.
